Here at Monterey Bay Teachers Association, we are proud to advocate for our preschool - Adult school teachers, nurses, counselors, speech pathologist, and academic counselors. We firmly believe that the work we do has a direct benefit on the educational quality of our schools. Empowered teachers means empowered students. We ensure that the civil rights of all students and educators are protected.

Our Bargaining Team last year won a 9% Salary increase with a 1% increase to Benefits. This is the largest single-year increase we have had.
This year, the focus of bargaining is switching over to Work Day. We are gathering your input and getting ready to share our key points.
